***AT THE FESTIVAL***

YOGA MATS ARE NOT PROVIDED!
Please bring your own mat or buy one at the festival.

WATER + SANITATION
We are staying in midrange and upscale resorts where water is purified. 99% of restaurants
on the island use bottled water for all cooking purposes. Nevertheless, it is advisable to drink and brush teeth with bottled water. At the festival, there are many free water-refill stations, just bring a reusable water bottle!

SHOWERS + CHANGING ROOMS
This year with both daytime and nighttime programming taking place at Bali Purnati, we
have provided showers and changing rooms to refresh you from day to night. Please bring
your own towel and toiletries.

TOILETS
Most of our toilets this year are compostable dry toilets - a little bit different from your usual toilet experience but very environmentally friendly. Here's a simple HOW TO guide:HEALTH + MOSQUITOS
Dengue fever has re-emerged in Bali, Please make sure to use bug spray a er 4pm. If you get Bali
Belly, please keep hydrated. If it does not pass within 48hrs, please get checked: you might need a dose of Cipro. In a dire emergency, you would need to be evacuated to Singapore. Check out SOS international medical clinic. If you have a minor illness or ailment, you will be just fine.

WATER & SUN
Generally the Ubud area of Bali has warm, sunny days (90F / 30C) and cools at night. Rain is frequent but is usually light and of short duration. Please wear light clothing and bring a change of clothes. Showers are available at Purnati. Sunscreen and sunglasses are a MUST.

MONEY & $HOPPING
The market is a place for bargaining, but most shops are fixed price. The exchange rate is approximately IDR 14,300 = US $1.00. Bali loves Visa or MasterCard. Few restaurants and shops take American Express.
At the festival, you can use our new cashless payment system - load up money with your credit card onto your wristband, then easily pay for food, drinks and products throughout the festival venue.

If you are travelling with children, be aware that the Balinese LOVE KIDS!
