Sun Salutation is widely accepted as a warm-up practice for Vinyasa Yoga.  However, its roots run much deeper and some even consider it to be the most important practice of the entire Hatha Yoga system.

The world of Kali Yuga is clouded in darkness, chaos, disease and heartless acts of violence, and if we remain distracted by such activities, inevitably, feelings of sadness and fear will constantly overwhelm us. Fortunately, our ancestors didn’t leave us to wander blindly in the dark. They left us a map to navigate the dark waters and find our way to the light. Surya Namaskar is the path of light and it’s available to all who know its truth and practice its teachings. The sun rises each day, a bold reminder that light conquers darkness; that life is positive, delightful and good overall.

Join me as we rediscover the Sun Series, uncovering the hidden treasures that make this ancient ritual so powerful and particularly relevant to modern yogis seeking deeper meaning and greater health, vitality, and joy from their practice.
