There are an infinite amount of problems and issues that we face in our daily lives.
Regardless of culture, the most common struggles are financial, body image/ shame
and a healthy ego. Most people have 1 or 2 areas of their life that they constantly
struggle with.

We all dream about a bigger bank account or worry to protect your hard earned
assets. We all are guilty of negative thoughts, nasty physical comparisons, and the
classic “I am not enough!” We all strive to live a happy, full life.


IT’S NOT OUT OF YOUR CONTROL
Parental social conditioned statements have altered the way we express and handle
our emotions. Before we were able to decide a healthy mindset for ourselves, we
were shut down with statements such as:
“Stiff upper lip”
“Don’t be such a baby”
“I’m too busy/tired to deal with this
right now!”
“Go to your room”
“I’m not made of money.”
“You don’t always get what you want.’
“Rich people are…...(negative)”
“Poor people are…....(negative)

Our younger years at school can be a soul destroying place to spend 12+ years, too.
You are either the bully or being bullied, feel isolated and singled out, and are given
tests that engrave feelings of comparison. Even teachers can shatter a student’s
confidence and overall morale. Cognitive and motivational mediators of indirect
effects continue to exert influence on individual development outside and beyond
school. And so begins the acquisition of fear.
